This year we were lucky enough to go on our first official family vacation. In the past vacations have mostly consisted of family reunions of one type or another which include sitting in the dirt with a bunch of other dirty people for a few days. So, this was a real treat for us. We left little Thomas behind, poor baby, and went to Disneyland! It was the first time for Jackson and Ellie and were surprised that Mom's description of something actually lived-up to their expectations. I think it was a first. Anyway, it was such a blast and wanted to share a few pics. We also spent a night in Vegas on the way down and then a day at the beach. Hope you all have had a great summer of playing. Here's to fun times with family!

We are hoping to have one of those next year. LOL! Though probably not to Disneyland. We are actually thinking of going back to MI and spending the 4th with the Barncard's and actually going to Mackinac Island since we never went there in the seven years we lived in MI.
Sure wish we could do a family trip. You want to watch 5 extra kids? Just kidding than it wouldn't be a family trip. Woops!
I love your disneyland pics! Your kids are so adoreable - your family always is though! I bet Ellie was very very excited to be in the presence of a real princess! I can't wait to go! 2 1/2 weeks!!!! Grandma is coming however - guess it will be a slower moving vacation! Hope she doesn't mind the camping part too much. 12 days of nothing but playing!
